Christchurch Earthquakes  4th Sept 2010, 22nd February 2011, 13th June 2011 & 23rd December 2011.

Monday 13th August 2012: It's a long and tiring process of knowing when something will be back, especially when so many different agencies and government departments involved are working on resolutions under difficult and unusual circumstances that constantly change. However we can announce that our Hills Rd stores future is looking good. In-fact by this Christmas we are hoping it will be fixed and back to business.

Sadly our Ferrymead bottlestore and brewery will never be open again. Unfortunately the land where our building resides is too unpredictable in future events and so obtaining insurance is an impossible task. This building has been demolished.

Harrington’s is currently looking at new venues. We will update this page with exact dates when we know for sure.

(Friday, 30 December 2011 12:23)Unfortunately our stores situated at 205 Hills Road, Shirley and 945 Ferry Road, Ferrymead will be closed until further notice. Our Shirley store was closed due to the Earthquake on Feb 22. It will reopen once the stability of the land the building is situated on is assessed and is deemed ok to re-build or repair by the appropriate authorities. Assessments by engineers following the earthquakes of 23rd December, has recommended we close the Ferrymead store.

All other stores including our Brewery on Ferry Road, our Restaurant in Belfast and Tasting House in Hillmorton are open and operating normal hours. We have employed independent engineers to assess all our buildings to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.

We will inform you of our closed stores re-opening dates as soon as we know via this page.
